° little fighter °

On Wednesday I met with little Kamea. She has been diagnosed with Leukemia on February 4th and has had 3 chemo threatments behind her so far. The little trooper is almost 3 years old. We met to take some pictures of her before she starts to lose her cute little curls.

She was very shy, but that is what I expected. Some candy kept her happy and after a little while she started to come out of her shell:

I got a lot of very serious shots, but those are always my favorites

I would like to ask everyone to keep this little girl and her family in your thoughts and prayers! I will keep you updated on her fight with cancer and possible fundraisers in the future.

I know that there is an organization that offers free photo sessions for children with a life-threatening disease. Unfortunately I won’t be able to join this organization, since they already have quite a few photographers from Colorado and are not accepting any more applications. Well, I guess I can still offer my services without being part of a group. If you have a child with an illness like Kamea, please contact me! These sessions can be at your home or even at the hospital and are free of charge!

° I am superwoman °

Check me out, I can carry a 200 lbs bed all by myself! :p

We have been moving to our new house since Saturday. It’s going good!! I’m more than glad that we have 3 weeks to get everything over there. Let me tell you the story of the little van that could… who needs a moving truck when you have a mom’s car?! I can fit a whole dresser, a bed, 6 big bins full of stuff, some curtain rods and tons of other little stuff – all in one load! Oh, and my dog fits too.

So far I painted both of the kids rooms. I did a crappy job in Ae’s room and didn’t notice until after I threw away the yellow paint roller. There are a bunch of patches that need some more paint. But Aidan’s room is all done and I started to move his bed over. His bed is the biggest PITA ever! Last time we moved I was able to take it apart, without taking the whole thing apart… if you know what I mean HAHA. But it looks like the Thyroid issues are also making me a bit stoopit. I had to take the whole bed apart and in the end I had this left over. And there was NO WAY to take it apart without taking every single piece of wood off. But the little van could even transport this weird assemble.

This is Aidan’s new room. He picked it out…. it’s kinda smallish, but enough for him. Aeris picked one of the bigger rooms (right next to my room of course…).

and an hour later it was all coming together again…  :)

Check back later – I got some super cute pictures to share of a very special little girl!

° march availability °

We finally found a house and the move is on! Tomorrow we get the keys and then I guess it’s time to pack my bags. I didn’t do a thing yet….

But please feel free to call me – you know that I’m super woman and I can do 18 things at the same time. I will pack my things, sew a dress, load photos in the background, watch another episode of Heroes and read a book to the kids – all at the same time. That’s how I roll baby!

I have a spring special going on right now. The economy sucks, so I’m trying to… not suck HAHA It will be a lot easier to sell this one to your husband, I promise!

March is getting full, but April is still open! Give me a call to set up our date: 303-731-3700
