Happy V-Day!
Quite honestly, I have never been the biggest fan. But my kids just love it so much, especially Ae. She is going completely coocoo weeks in advance. She forced me into tailoring this dress for her and it has been laying in her room, carefully draped over her rocking chair. I made the dress from just 1 1/2 yards of fabric and some leftover lace trim. Pattern is my own. The petticoat that she is wearing underneath was made from 5 yards of broadcloth. It’s HUGE! Emmett was not easy to photograph today. He was completely mesmerized by the cars driving by and decided it would be much cooler to go for a walk. I got the idea from Finley & Oliver
This morning I also got to host the Valentine’s Party for A’s class room. I made some sad looking cake pops (I threw this together in a couple hours and was not really in the mood… sadly). The kids did not care either way, but I just love to point out my faults! :p
I also made a huge batch of sugar cookies and the kids got to decorate them.
